Commercial Development Specialist
Job Description
* Manages general customer inquiries and opportunities – working both re-actively to incoming calls, and pro-actively for outbound business development
* Answers general product/application questions and provide product recommendations
* Independently identifies business development opportunities
* Transfers complex potential opportunities to others
* Leverages marketing programs or other mediums (e.g. PBM campaigns; Ad campaigns; Direct mail, etc.) to identify potential new opportunities
* Document potential opportunities in CRM, support opportunities per Industry direction / criteria
* Responds to opportunities generated at trade shows. Builds relationships with potential customers providing product knowledge skills (as part of opportunity generation and follow-up)
* Identifies customer needs / wants from general inquiries, independent cold calling, and other sources
* Responds to Customer, Partners, End Users & Prospects for general product / application information and website navigation advice
* Provides general training (applications, product positioning, etc.) to distributors and end customers
* Gathers competitive information and coordinates potential opportunities for assigned main business unit
* Identifies opportunities and assists implementation in improving processes, workflows, web tools and contributing to knowledge management systems
* Trains and mentors other Business Center personnel as necessary
Key Competencies and Experience
* Technical Qualifications Degree in Engineering or Business
* 3 – 5 years post graduated of experience in a commercial environments
* Experience working in the multi-national organizations
* Fluent in English (communication will be done mainly through telephones and with non-local speakers/customers)
* Expertise in SAP minimum 1 year of heavy usage of Customer Services and Related modules.
* Fully familiar with Order Entry transactions
* Able to navigate SAP to monitor Shipping Schedule Status
* Proactively communicate to internal & external customers to solve order entry discrepancies when it happens
