IT System Engineer Flight Focus Pte Ltd
Flight Focus Pte Ltd is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, results oriented and innovative person to fill the role of IT System Engineer to be placed in Jakarta, Indonesia. The IT System team will provide 24×7 support to the operations and customers.
IT System Engineer
The incumbent will be responsible to ensure the smooth running of the computer systems including operational system and database server, at any time. He/she will be the first level of IT support to the Operations.
Being part of the IT Support team, the IT System Engineer will also support the Networking & Infrastructure Engineer in ensuring the computer system and network are in place and fully functional.
Principal Duties
* Ensure life system to provide agreed services that meet key performance indicators (KPIs) to external/internal customers.
* Provide 24×7 technical support to attend to any customer reports from customer service.
* To resolve the technical problem reported from customer service at the time of incident and to liaise with Customer Service about the status of reported incident.
* Should the problem reported can’t be solved on the spot, to follow the escalation procedure and update the status via Customer Service.
* Assist Customer Service to generate daily required reports.
* Execute deployment of the Flight Focus Application including Ground and Airborne systems.
* Create monitoring tools for Flight Focus Application system, e.g. Ground System, Flight Planning System, Flight Following System.
* Upgrade Flight Focus application system.
* Maintain Flight Focus application system Log files.
* Work with Development team to create plan, execute and monitor application deployment.
Position Requirements
* Diploma/Bachelor Degree in IT, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering related dispiline.
* Certified in Linux administration would be advantegous.
* Certified in Database administration would be advantegous.
* Minimum 1 year experience in IT Support related function in a medium enterprise.
* Experience working in regional operation would be advantageous.
* Good knowledge in Linux Operating System.
* Good knowledge in Virtual Machine System.
* Proficient in Python Scripting Language is preferred.
* Excellent skill to use command line tool.
* Excellent skill to create and maintaining script.

* Ability to ensure completion of tasks or cases and being innovative in providing solutions.
* Ability to make analysis and work under stressful environment.
* Ability to work independently without supervisor and yet able to complete within giving time frame.
* Excellent interpersonal skill with people at all level.
* Ability to communicate in English is a MUST.
