Technical Services Engineer with a World Leading Telecom Firm based in China
A world leading Telecom firm is seeking several Technical Support Engineers, based in China.
Responsible for providing remote post-sales support of hardware systems, sub-systems and/or applications for customers or field personnel utilizing telephone and remote diagnostic capabilities. Supports more complex end-user installations, configurations, upgrades and migrations through problem isolation, verification, resolution and documentation. This is a post-sales remote support position.
Skills required include SIP, VoIP, Call Center, Networking, LAN’s and data.
Experience using, administrating and troubleshooting PDS (Dialer) systems are a plus. Requires exercise of independent judgment and discretion, while working with minimal supervision.
Provides solutions to a diverse range of moderately complex problems. Strong technical writing skills are necessary to perform job duties.
Key Technical Skills
Professional certifications are desired, i.e. MCSE, Network Certification, CCNA, CCNP GSS2189…
Experience in integrated IP Converged PBX issues. GSS2190 is a plus;
Data networking background and knowledge of Voice over IP (VoIP) will be extremely beneficial.
IT security topics including network protection strategy is a plus. GSS2187
Requires at least 3 – 6 years relevant experience and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science. Bachelor’s degree.
Very fluent English speaking is a MUST.
