PT Rekadaya Elektrika has a wide area of services in electric power industry sector as EPC contracting (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) for Power Plant, Network, Distribution and SCADA projects of which the company belongs to PT PLN (Persero) through PT PJB, PT Indonesia Power, PT PLN Batam , YPK PLN and PT Rekayasa Industri. in line with the company planning and goal to strengthen the management and project team, we invite a competent and challenge-seeking professional to be positioned as folows :
PURCHASING (ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL, CIVIL)
The Role
* Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the purchasing engineer will be responsible for taking care of the purchasing function, by effectively handling his team of purchasing officers; to control and handle the issues in the absence of the Manager.
* Fully accountable for the purchasing role assigned
* Negotiation of prices and terms with the suppliers to bring in savings for the company
* Follow-up with suppliers and coordination with related agencies to ensure timely delivery of materials
* Coordination with user divisions by providing them with proper reports and feedbacks.
* Transparency in all the dealings and following the purchasing procedures laid down by the company.
* Proactive interaction with other divisions such as finance and stores
Requirements
* University graduated with Technical background: Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument, Civil or Computer
* Have good Health (Physically and Mentally)
* Having computer literacy and fluent in English
* Familiar with SAP, ISO system and having organizational experience will be an advantage
* Minimum 2 years of experience working on Purchasing Engineer
* High level of computer literacy and creativity
* Proficiency in English both oral and written
* Must have good planning skill and interpersonal skills
* Must have good analytical thinking and ability to perform with minimum supervision.
* Able to work independently in a fast-paced changing environment
* Posses a strong organizing, planning, communication, and analytical thinking
* Hard worker and able to work under pressure
