Middleware
Main Responsibilities :
* Sets up and installs the test performance and/or production Online/ WEB /APP//WebLogic environment appropriate for the project.
* Design and facilitate the expansion and improvement of the WEB/Online Application infrastructure in areas required, taking into consideration business requirements, processes, event correlation and integration of third party applications.
* Perform ongoing maintenance of the Production environment.
* Coordinate releases and patches, working with the infra team in the development center
* Apply in-depth knowledge of at least one major Infra area or basic knowledge of several Infra areas, as is applicable to the division’s requirements.
* Check and correct problems that are not immediately evident in existing systems or processes.
* Have a service awareness level of communication.
* Provide user support as required
* Ensures the ongoing operation of the infrastructure tools according to the definitions and needs of the division’s projects.
* Supports, advises and trains the divisions employees
* Assist with development of new tests, which includes adapting procedures/scripts from the Production and Delivery groups into the monitoring tool.
* Provide technical support for sales efforts
* Provide high level of documentation, according to company standards.
Requirements :
* Minimum 2 years experience working as an Infrastructure SME, or equivalent.
* Very strong knowledge of middleware software and web technologies – WebLogic 8.1 and up, IIS, Apache, SunOne,
* Knowledge of hardware products/platforms for information systems (HP; NT Stations;; Unix or other workstations, )
* Experience working in various operating systems (Windows, Unix, etc.)
* Experience working with Infrastructure tools and scripts
* Experience creating and maintaining scripts written in various programming languages, such as Perl, SQL, Unix (KSH, TCSH, SH) and Oracle database.
* Ability to create and maintain programs written in C or Java, preferred
* Familiar with Infra standards and methodologies
