Merchandise Database Manager (BDD Head Office)
General responsibilities :
* to maintain and develop a department-level data mart to provide tactical reporting and analysis
* to design, coordinate and standardize flow of information inside the department
* to provide information support to management on ad-hoc basis
General Requirement :
* min. 3 years experience in managing medium-large scale RDBMS (Sql server, oracle, DB2), preferable MS SQL Server 2005
* Any experience in Business Intelligence development is highly appreciated
* Excellent logical thinking
* Quick learner
* Good leadership and teamwork
* Good in English is a must
Technical requirement :
* proficient in creating and deploying SSIS (Integration Services) package
* basic understanding in MS Analytical Services (cube building & processing)
* proficient in Microsoft Office (connectivity with DBMS, basic VBscript programming)
* able to present ideas in simple, concise manner
* Able to run basic system requirement analysis and design
Optional requirement :
* Proficient programming knowledge in any one of : ASP.Net, PHP, Java, VB.net, MS Access, VB6
