HARDWARE ENGINEER (STORAGE ENGINEER)
Mandatory skill set
* Degree in Computer Sciences/ Electrical Engineering
* Qualified candidates must have 2-5 years experience with large SAN Enterprise infrastructure environments involving EMC, Brocade and Cisco hardware servicing primarily UNIX, (Linux AIX/Solaris) hosts.
* Excellent technical skills with managing large-scale and complex SAN/NAS storage arrays in a enterprise environment.
* Superior technical skills with background in designing and managing large-scale enterprise complex storage environments.
* Must be capable of writing technical documentation, making presentations to an internal audience, interacting positively with upper management and outside vendors.
* Knowledge of Windows a plus. Excellent Working knowledge of NAS
* Must be able to write scripts in administrative languages (Perl, or shell scripts).
* Strong inter-personal skills. Capable of communicating effectively in oral/written format to developers, team members and other technology teams internal and outside this firm.
* Capable of independent problem solving, self-motivated and self-directed. Bachelors Degree in any field is a must Strong communication skill.
Preferential skill set
* Experience working with EMC SRDF, EMC PowerPath, a solid understanding of Unix systems. Unix Administration is desired.
