Various Accounts Positions – 5 Days, West
1) Accountant / Snr Accountant (Fixed Assets) AP
You will be responsible to:
* Maintain the fixed assets register.
* Handling of fixed assets transactions – addition, disposal, transfer and write-off.
* Preparation of depreciation and other fixed asset-related entry adjustments.
* Monitoring reports to ensure that assets are correctly entered into the fixed assets subledger.
* Month end reconciliation and closing.
* Monitoring the Asset Under Construction and Fixed Assets Clearing Account to ensure that assets are capitalized on a timely basis.
* Preparation of monthly fixed assets and movement schedules.
* Ensure that the periodic reports are provided to the user departments (Site Finance, MMD, Cost Center) on a timely basis.
* Coordinate and conduct the physical fixed assets verification audit and follow-up on discrepancies / variance.
* Attend to auditors’ and users’ queries.
* Provide information for fixed asset reporting for inclusion in the statutory report.
* Provide information for the preparation of audit / tax schedules e.g. Depreciation and gains and losses on the sale of fixed assets.
* Other general support including ad-hoc reports and special projects.
* Maintain the Vendor Master and ePayment Master.
Job Requirements:
* Degree in Accountancy or ACCA equivalent.
* At least 4 years of relevant working experience, with 2 years experience in a supervisory position.
* IT savvy. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
2) Executive, Finance Shared Services (AR Section)
You will assist the Manager, Accounts Receivable (AR) in managing the accounts receivables and customer services function.
Your duties include planning and directing all Shared Service AR activities to achieve the section’s goals and objectives, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring that the internal controls are complied with. You are also required to review, recommend and implement policies and procedures to achieve optimal revenue collection without affecting service levels.
Job Requirements
* Degree in Business/ Accountancy or ACCA equivalent
* Minimum 3 years in a supervisory capacity
* Experience in AR Management, Collections, Customer Service and Call Center
* Preferably with IT background
* Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
3) Accounts Assistant, AP
You will perform Accounts Payable activities, Vendor and Bank reconciliation. You will also undertake other ad-hoc assignments as and when assigned
Job Requirements:
* ‘O’ level / LCCI qualification with minimum 2 years relevant experience in accounting.
* SAP experiences and strong Microsoft application software knowledge would be an added advantage.
* You will also be considered if you have at least 3 – 4 years relevant experience without the educational qualifications. Fresh diploma holders are welcome to apply.
* Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Self-motivated and task oriented
* Able to work independently and meticulously under tight deadlines.
* You have an eye for detail and posses the ability to think and react quickly.
4) Accounts Assistant (Payroll)
The incumbent will assist the Payroll supervisor in maintaining complete and systematic records relating to employees’ pay.
You will be responsible to:
* Perform monthly payroll computation of various cost centers.
* Involved in month-end closing and accounts reconciliation
* Process employees’ claims, IR8A and all other related tax forms and filings.
* Assist in handling the compensation and benefits function such as annual increment and bonus exercises.
* Ad hoc activities as and when requested.
Job Requirements:
* GCE ‘O’ level or equivalent, with at least 2 years of relevant working experience
* Proficiency in MS Office such as MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
* Customer-service oriented and has good communication and telephone skills
* Hands-on experience with SAP system will be an advantage
