Fab Finance Manager
Job Purpose:
* Responsible and accountable for Costing/Inventory, Fixed Assets management for all Fabs (including JVs), Corporate Financial Planning and ad hoc projects.
1. Costing/Inventory
* Ensure standardization of costing across all fabs. All products/WIP are valued using the same standard setting methodology
* Provide sales and gross margin analysis by technology (micron)
* Provide Cost of Quality Report as one of the measurement tool for fabs
2. Fixed Assets
* Ensure fixed assets is maintained with full compliance with US GAAP
* Monitor and Track Capital Expenditure to ensure legitimate spending
* Work with IE and SMO to ensure assets are utilized operationally and identify excess tools/obsolescence periodically
3. Corporate Financial Planning
* Coordinate with all Fab Finance to prepare Review Package for Quarterly Budget Comm/BOD Meetings
* Prepare different scenario financial statements in accordance with different business requirements
* Ensure data completeness and correctness of Hyperion System
* Support corporate departmental heads in monthly analysis, quarterly forecast and annual budget activities
* Work with and finalize with all corporate head of department on a fair and equitable allocation basis to all fabs (including JVs)
* Provide support to Fab Finance by providing cross fab data/information for benchmarking/cost reduction activities
4. Others
* Continuously explore automation and reduce cycle time in providing timely information for management and decision making
* Liaise with Internal/External Auditors on above mentioned areas
Requirements:
* Degree in Accountancy or Equivalent Professional Qualifications
* 8 years of relevant working experience with at least 2 years of which should be in a managerial capacity and preferably in manufacturing environment
* Good knowledge of accounting guidelines and financial controlling
* Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of management and cross functions
* Strong analytical mind and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
