National Bank of Kuwait S.A.K. invites applications for the position of:-
RISK AND COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Your responsibilities will include:
* Independent monitoring of compliance with laws, rules and standards
* Developing, analysing and validating risk models
* Reviewing and analysing enterprise-wide risk issues and making recommendations to implement appropriate controls to manage risks
* Participating in Basel programme initiatives
* Assisting in the design and implementation of risk and compliance related policies, procedures and systems
* Communicating risk profiles and risk-return dynamics, investigating and reporting exceptions to management and ensuring proper resolution of risk and compliance issues
You should possess a University Degree in Business, Finance, Accountancy, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent, with at least three years’ relevant working experience in the financial services industry.
You should have a good understanding of sound risk management practices, comprehensive knowledge of rules and regulations applicable to the financial sector, strong quantitative background, fluency in report writing, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications. You should be able to work independently and also be a good team player with strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
