Accountant cum Administration Assistant
Summary:
* Work independently with minimum supervision in keeping a full set of accounts record up to P&L and Balance Sheet, budget and Forecast level
* Support and coordinate for audit and tax computation submissions, sales tax etc.
* Conduct debts and or credit control and assist cash flow management.
* Support F&A Manager and MEC in all F&A, Secretarial and General Office administrative tasks / duties
* Possess leadership skill in leading for more successful planning processes.
Requirements:
* LCCI or Diploma in Accounting,
* Minimum 2 years accounting experience in multi-national company.
* Able to handle full set of Accounts up to P&L and Balance Sheet, forecast and budget level
* Has conducted debts or credit control and cash flow management.
Duties:
To execute the following accounting and administrative tasks and duties:
1.) Finance / Accounting
* Provide assistance to:
+ complete full sets of accounts up to P&L and Balance Sheet level
+ prepare monthly FRANGO report for the Head Office
+ prepare monthly and annual consolidation of P&L and Balance Sheet.
* Support in coordinating with auditors, tax agent and regulatory authorities to ensure that systems are in place and in compliance with Accounting Standard, Companies Act and Group Policies and Procedures.
* Handle the monthly cheque and / or petty cash payments
* Assist in maintaining the company’s asset movement record, inclusive of the Capital Expenditure Investment managing and ensuring that all company’s assets are adequately insured.
* Ensure timely submission of sales tax or any other timely tax declaration
* Coordination for all relevant audit matters.
2.) Administration / Company Secretarial
* Supervising the maintenance of contracts for building and company’s assets.
* Follow-up claims and validity of insurance matters for business risk, stock, fire, transport, theft, Shipping as well as Plant and Equipment, Hospital and Medical.
* Liaison and follow up on legal action and matters.
* Assist in negotiation of contracts for services
* Purchase of non-product stocks i.e. general supplies, office consumables, capital equipment, etc.
* Follow-up & coordinate renewal and applications of Company’s license / contract matters.
* Regular follow-up to enforce credit controlling and supervising debtor management including the authority to stop supply, credit reviews and the initiation of legal action in line with management instruction and company guidelines
* Write all minutes of meetings and update all records
* Maintain all official documents, statutory forms and resolutions, etc.
* Any other duties as instructed from time to time by the Finance & Admin. Manager / Accountant.
* Adheres to abide by the corporate ethics policy as well as by the leadership guidelines as per company policy
* Highlights issues / trends and provide proposals and solutions to local management
* Support and assist in the Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) and in the updating of the HUBER+SUHNER Management system according ISO 9001-2000.
