Deputy Finance Manager – (Leading Energy Provider, Somerset)
Our client is the leading energy provider in the region.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Financial Controller in setting up a new business entity, support the project under construction on matters relating to external financing (including financial modelling and capital structure) and project accounting, and establishing the business and operational structure when it is ready to commence operation (including the internal and external reporting, and the setting up of the SAP module and accounting system)
* Assist in the review of current SOX process and system of internal controls, assess necessity, efficiency and effectiveness against business needs while in compliance with SOX requirements, recommend areas for improvements and implement necessary changes as approved by the management
* Develop and lead an efficient and effective finance team to support the business operations in areas such as financial reporting (including full set of accounts), business analysis, management reporting and treasury matters
Requirements
* Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent
* Possess at least 6 years of working experience, preferably with managerial responsibility, with at least 3 years of auditing experience with an international CPA Firm
* Knowledge of SAP is necessary
* Experience with SOX and system set up, implementation and controls in an MNC highly desirable
* Independent, adaptable to changes and possess excellent communication skills
* Only Singaporean or PR need apply
