JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT/Good knowledge with SAP-Jurong, Gul Drive
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Support daily operations of Finance department and day-to-day accounting and costing matters with other departments by providing professional expertise and advice on financial related matters.
JOB CONTEXT & CONTENT
* Prepare the full set of account for VWR Holding companies. Including preparation of payment, tax computations and liaise with tax authorities.
* Prepare expenses analysis reports.
* Fixed Assets Controller (Manage Fixed Assets system, Update & maintain fixed assets register such as additions, disposals & transfers).
* Assist in month-end reporting such as monthly management reports; Quarterly reports; prepare audit schedules, journal entries and etc.
* Assist in preparing and checking quarterly GST returns.
* Other ad-hoc duties as assigned, e.g., filing of accounting documents, banking of cheques, process collection and any other duties assigned by HOD.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
* Minimum Diploma in Accounting or any equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in Finance / Accounting Department of MNCs preferred.
* Good knowledge with SAP accounting system is a must.
* Mature, Meticulous, organized and independent worker with high degree of initiative
* Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
* Able to work independently and possesses good working attitude.
