AVP / Associate – Investments
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for planning, organizing and executing the research needs of the Company;
* Carry out research and financial analysis on real estate projects and companies;
* Carry out research on market outlook, taxation, funding, government policies incentives issues and regulatory structure in country of investment
* Responsible for all financial modeling for project analysis and evaluation including review and recommend market, project, financing and other assumptions; construct and integrate multiple models; sensitivity analysis/stress testing and review project scenarios.
* Assist in the due diligence of projects and companies;
* Assist in crafting the proposed corporate and investment structures for each project;
* Understand all financial matters relating to clients and potential clients with respect to the projects;
* Understand debt financing terms and investor requirements;
* Provide a critical analysis on the viability of project based on information provided.
* Assist in negotiation, documentation and other completion matters;
* Assist in post-completion matters such as asset management, corporate strategy, business plan and other related matters.
* Present detailed reports (including prospectus, board and other investors’ presentation) and recommendations, accurately, fully and in a timely fashion.
Requirements
A relevant accounting or business degree or higher, with up to 8 yrs of experience in sourcing, underwriting and managing direct real estate investment opportunities. Candidates with less than 8 years experience will be considered for an Associate position. Candidates must be conversant in financial modelling for direct and joint venture investments
