Assistant Manager, Group Finance
Responsibilities:
* Assist Finance Manager to oversee group accounting and reporting function
* Assist in monthly closing and quarterly announcement reports
* Review and implement accounting and financial procedures and policies to ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial policies
* Oversee tax compliance and reporting matters
* Carry out financial analysis and evaluations for business segments
* Liaise with business units, internal & external auditors, legal and tax advisors on related matters
Requirements:
* A Certified Public Accountant or possess a professional qualification which is registerable with ICPAS
* Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, preferably with large reputable organizations
* Technically competent with up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and practices
* Hands-on experience in operations and dealing with voluminous transactions
* IT savvy and familiar with financial IT tools and software
* Motivated, proactive and optimistic about challenges
* Possess a strong analytical mind with good communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
