The incumbent will work for Aurora Tankers Management Pte Ltd, one of the subsidiaries of IMC Corp Pte Ltd. This role supports the Assistant Finance Manager in the provision of timely and accurate financial and management accounts for management, regulators, and/or other external institutions. The incumbent will also support the Commercial Operation team in company performance reporting.
Accounts Executive
Responsibilities:
* Handle accounting functions of various vessels and entities
* Input purchase invoices, port disbursement accounts, accruals/ provisions and related work to complete a full set of accounts
* Prepare Statement of Accounts and inventory schedule
* Prepare and review working schedules and to clear outstanding balances
* Ensure timely and accurate financial information to management and external parties
* Assist to ensure all corporate and financial affairs comply and adhere to all statutory requirements i.e. accounting standards, companies and tax legislations, and other relevant regulations.
Requirements:
* Diploma in Accountancy with at least 3 years of relevant experience in keeping full set of accounts, strong accounting and double-entries knowledge. Candidates currently in pursuit of ACCA or equivalent are welcomed to apply
* Candidates with experience in shipowners books and advanced Excel skills preferred
* Resourceful, self-motivated, good initiative and ability to meet multiple timelines
* A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
