AVP, Credit Research (Aviation / Telecom)
Our client, a major foreign bank with diversified global portfolio, is looking for a suitable candidate for the abovementioned position.
Responsibilities:
# Conduct on-site/off-site credit research on certain customers or business groups for the purpose of examining future credit policy on respective companies.
# Get accurate grasp of credit risk on customers in charge and review obligor grades for companies with Bank’s exposure of more than USD50M.
# Advise Credit Department for amendment of obligor grades if necessary and ensure the department staff understood the reasons for such amendments through discussion to reach final conclusions.
# Detect customers whoese credit risk is likely to be heightened and raise it with relevant departments
# Grasp updated trend in industry-in-charge through companies visit, etc and provide relevant information which could affect customers to internal stakeholders.
# To recognise change of semi-macro economic environment in Asian countries in charge and provide relevant information which could impact on risk profiles of corporations and industries to internal stakeholders.
# Support BUs which are seeking business opportunities with certain companies, through obligor grading, research on business environment in industries, research on companies’ competitiveness & prospects, etc.
# Handle credit inquiries received from internal departments concerning various companies and industries
# Develop Early Warning Models or business solution method for customers
Requirements:
# MBA holder preferred or Degree holder with relevant experience
# At least 4 years’ relevant experience is required
# CFA holder would have an added advantage
# Proficient in MS Office
# Experience as an analyst in either Aviation or Telecommunications industry is an added advantage
