Cost Accountant needed in Healthcare / Pharmaceutical (West, Contract / Perm)
Responsibilities:
* Manage all areas relating to cost accounting.
* Prepare costing journal relating to the month end financial closing in accordance to Corporate Policies & GAAP Procedures.
* Process, evaluate, interpret and report of stock/costing information for monthly closing schedules and reconciliation.
* Perform monthly variance analysis to assist management in decision-making and improve operating efficiencies.
* Prepare monthly management reports.
* Assist in annual budgeting process.
* Perform revaluation of Inventories based on revised product standard costs.
* Conduct annual physical inventory stock-take in compliance with Corporate Procedures.
* Assist and coordinate projects related to improvement in inventory control.
* Preparation of financial statements for statutory and tax reporting
* Ensure internal control compliance and improvements
* Support in Audit work & other matters
* 1 year contract for MNC
* Permanent position available too
* Location: Tuas / West
Requirements:
* Diploma / Degree in accountancy / ACCA
* Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting or audit
* A team player who is hands-on and meticulous in his/her work
* Possess excellent communication and people handling skills
* Possess initiative and able to work independently
* Experience working in manufacturing / healthcare sectors are advantageous
* Able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
* Experienced using various softwares such as SAP, ACCPAC, JD Edward etc
* Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferbly
* Strong Excel spreadsheet skills and proficient in MS Office
* Able to start work in short notice or immediately
