Head of Intermediated Distribution
Responsibilities:
Job Scope:
This role is to lead the development and success of non-bank intermediary distribution channels to the business with an excellent level of relationship based service. The principal goal for the role is for the Company to become the acknowledged leader in intermediary distribution in Singapore. In pursuit of this goal the role will also be able to leverage expertise and capabilities across the Group business.
Responsibilities:
* To develop and execute a market insight driven strategy for intermediary distribution development, identifying and leveraging synergies with other parts of Singapore’s unique multi-distribution mix
* To deliver/exceed the agreed financial and non-financial targets for intermediated distribution with a particular focus in the next 12 months on seller activation and NBC growth
* To design, develop and implement improved processes and ‘systems’ for intermediary channel performance and development
* To support and champion the professional development of everyone working in intermediated distribution, with a particular focus on channel heads/senior managers
* To understand market development in Singapore and more widely for the Company to get to and remain at the leading edge of Intermediary distribution
Requirements:
* Degree holder in any discipline with a minimum of 10 – 12 years related experience and strong market focus
* Possess strong intermediary channel management and development, organizational, leadership and customer service skills
* A team player, fast learner, meticulous, results oriented and independent with strong interpersonal and people management skills
* Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships at all levels
* Ability to adapt positively to changes in policies, procedures, priorities and work environments
* Good presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues
* Possess excellent project planning and project management skills with the ability to develop short-term plans/goals
* Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
