Assistant Tax Manager
Responsibilities:
1. Tax Compliance review for all South East Asia & North East Asia entities:
- Conduct periodic internal audits of tax computations submitted to identify any potential risk exposures and errors
- Tax compliance review of all tax returns prepared by tax agents for Singapore and Malaysia entities
- Review and Follow-up on Tax Diagnostic Reviews performed by consultants
- Providing tax inputs to Business Partners on general tax queries
- Building up and maintaining a tax summary for the entities within the zone
2. Transfer Pricing for South East Asia & North East Asia:
- Main contact point for all Transfer Pricing (TP) queries
- Main support to Terms&Conditions (T&C) Transfer Pricing team for the roll-out of annual TP campaigns
- Support any TP initiatives by T&C Transfer Pricing team
- Conduct periodic internal audits of the TP files prepared by businesses to ensure compliance with the Group TP policy
3. Main contact point for collation of information request on tax for the zone
Requirements:
* Candidate to possess a Degree in Accountancy or Business or equivalent
* 5 – 6years tax experience in Tax Authorities, Tax Consultancy Firms, Commercial MNCs
* Able to understand, analyse and identify feasible solutions for complex transactions
* Advanced knowledge in dealing with tax implications for cross-border transactions, OECD/ United Nations Tax Guidelines, Double Tax Treaties, General Tax principles/ concepts advantageous
