2 x Accountant – People Profilers Pte Ltd
Our client is global MNC located near Somerset MRT.
2 x Accountant (AP, Europe MNC, Bilingual in English & Japanese, Oracle & Hyperion)
Responsibilities:
* Reports to the GL Lead who is based in Tokyo
* Manage all AP processes, Fixed Assets processes & Treasury & Cash Management
* Perform monthly, quarterly and year end closing of accounts
* Prepare, review and follow up on reconciliations and schedules
* Ensure that proper internal control is established and monitored for these processes
* Provide support in preparing timely, accurate and complete monthly, quarterly and yearly P&L and balance sheet reports for regions supported.
* Provide expense analysis reports for business units
* Manage employee travel expense claims and reimbursements
* Ensure compliance of local business tax requirements (e.g. Withholding Tax / Value-Added Tax /Consumption Tax, excluding corporate tax) including preparation & filing of necessary returns for these taxes.
* Liaise with local CPA for tax filing / returns
* Monitor & evaluate performance indicators for share service reporting
* Supervise, train and develop accounting team.
* Provide support in any government / corporate statistics gathering exercises.
Requirements:
* A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting or its equivalent and 2 years of relevant work experience incapacity.
* Experience in working within Japanese multi-nationals corporations preferred.
* Good accounting knowledge, knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Access and Word.
* Experience in Oracle & Hyperion would be an advantage.
* Good knowledge of English & Japanese (spoken & written) and a good communicator.
