Accountant
Responsibilities:
* Analyze business and financial performance for business units and Group
* Liaise with country finance and operations heads on financial performance analysis and other financial issues
* Undertake day-to-day financial control, accounting and reporting functions
* Ensure that accounting reports are in compliance with approved accounting regulations, standards and practices
* Prepare and review financial and management reports
* Prepare / coordinate budgets, forecasts and financial analysis
* Assist in financial process review and re-engineering, and systems implementation as well as other adhoc projects
* Undertake any other accounting or financial functions as assigned
Requirements:
* A Certified Public Accountant or possess a professional qualification which is registerable with ICPAS
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with large reputable organizations
* Experience in consolidation of group accounts and analysis of group operation is required. Working knowledge of Frango or Hyperion will be an added advantage
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
* Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
