Accountant
Responsibilities:
* Closing of monthly accounts for various overseas subsidiaries in compliance with US and local accounting principles and local regulatory rules, statutory reporting and tax filings
* Liaise with outsourced accountants of overseas subsidiaries
* Inter-company billing, reconciliation and confirmation
* Manage full spectrum of AP duties
* Verification of invoices, data entry in ERP system and preparation of payment
* Manage full spectrum of AR duties (invoicing/collection/receipts/reporting)
* Handle monthly AR reporting and analysis duties
* Aging AR and bad debt recovery report
* Customer credit review and management
* Cashflow management and forecast
* Record, reconcile, analyze and report Fixed Assets related transactions in ERP system
* Interface with the internal and external auditors and tax agents
* Provide support to any other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements:
* Degree in Accountancy or ACCA holder
* Minimum 5 years of accounting working experience preferably in semiconductor industry
* Must have hands-on experience with General Ledger, Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables. Good to have Fixed Assets transactions experience.
* Knowledge of local and US GAAP
* Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirement
* Knowledge of accounting & MS office software. Good to have ERP (SAP/Oracle) knowledge.
* Experience working in a MNC environment
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* A team player
