Finance / FP&A Analyst x 2 – West and North
SGD 3500 – 6000
Responsibilities:
SUMMARY
To be the member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team in the Finance department in the corporate headquarters. The role will report to the Manager, FP&A and work closely with him to support the finance initiatives in the organization.
* Assist in the preparation of the monthly management reporting package
* Prepare analysis of financial results and provide clear explanations for variances
* Coordination of preparation of operational key performance indicators’ and preparation of key performance indications for the group
* Assist with internal and external presentations including material for the board of directors meetings
* Assist in the preparation of financial models
* Assist with M&A activity through preparation of models of the target company
* Assist with benchmarking industry/peer group comparisons
* Liaison with Group Reporting and operational Finance teams
* Assist in preparation of the annual budget and subsequent tracking of performance to the budget
* Assist with the preparation regular forecasts
* Prepare the reporting package for the weekly senior management meeting
Requirements:
* University degree in Finance or Accounting
* 2 years of experience in FP&A in a manufacturing environment
* A professional accounting designation or MBA would be an asset
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and good analytical skills
* Good interpersonal skills as the role will require extensive interaction with Management, Operations Management, and the Finance teams.
* Possess positive and proactive working attitude and able to thrive on challenge, embrace change and continually drive for excellence.
* Highly motivated, committed & results oriented
* Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
* Have extensive experience in financial modelling including company financial model & budget, business case development & analysis, basic M&A, etc
* High level of proficiency in MS Office products particularly in Excel and Powerpoint
* Experience with SAP would be preferred
