BW Maritime is part of the BW Group, one of the world’s leading maritime groups in the tanker, gas and offshore segments, operating a fleet of 122 owned, part-owned or controlled vessels. BW Maritime is a leading maritime company with commercial responsibility for a fleet of 27 vessels – 15 Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs), including one newbuilding, and a fleet of 12 LR1 product tankers. BW Maritime is also involved in a range of corporate activities across BW Group.
BW Fleet Management (BWFM) is responsible for the ship management of vessels owned by BW Gas, BW Maritime and other companies in the BW Group. It combines the technical expertise of the tanker and gas ship management teams and provides services within technical management, crewing, newbuilding and projects.
Analyst, Corporate Development
Responsibilities:
* Develop and operate financial and forecast models
* Analyze investment opportunities to identify business and financial opportunities / risks where appropriate
* Research maritime, oil, gas and other commodity markets including monitoring changes in relevant industry regulations
* Assist in executing investment projects
* Participate in the development of the quality management system
Requirements:
* University degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics
* Analytical with a strong interest in business analysis and financial modeling
* Innovative and able to work well under pressure
* Possess initiative and drive
