Cost Accountant (Inventory Control)
Responsibilities:
* Perform margin analysis & transfer price calculation
* Handle inventory asset profitability, margin and variance analysis
* This position can be accomplished through analysis of profitability, process improvement and sales analysis at a product level.
* Candidate should be knowledgeable in aspects of business processes, in order to rationalize current inventory level.
* Create, implement and maintain databases for all aspects of the inventory asset.
* Gather and distribute statistical data for analysis including dead stock, customer specific items, purchasing data, turns and inventory value for the company.
* Ensure timely month end closing with accuracy
Requirements:
* Diploma / Degree in Accountancy / Supply Chain Management / Material Management or equivalent with min 3 years relevant experience
* Costing/financial analysis background would be advantageous
* Strong data analytical and leadership skills & able to work independently
* Proficient with Microsoft Office, excellent knowledge of Excel
* Knowledge of SAP is preferred
