Credit Administrator
They are looking for a deputy head of banking support where lcredit administration experience is essential. The person will support the Head of Banking Support and must have leadership and management skills.
Credit Administrator

Responsibilities:
1 Process and monitor loan drawdowns, rollovers and repayments for Asia Pacific Region (Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo).
2 Liaise with Relationship Managers on completeness of account opening documentation and ensure compliance with CDD/KYC requirements.
3 Liaise with Credit Risk Managers and Relationship Managers on credit control matters.
4 Monitor compliance of loan covenants and conditions precedent documents.
5 Process fixed deposits, remittances and account opening.
6 Prepare SWIFT payments relating to loans and remittances.
7 Issue Letters of Guarantee and Standby Letters of Credit.
8 Liaise with the relevant departments on fundings, disbursements and reconciliations.
9 Prepare local management, Head Office and MAS reports.
10 Prepare audit confirmations.
11 Participate in User Acceptance Tests and ad-hoc projects.
12 Deputize and support the Department Head in managing the department and where necessary initiate improvements in workflows.
13 Ensure operational efficiencies meet the requisite Key Performance Indicators and comply with regulatory, internal/external audit requirements.
Requirements:
1 Good Academic record.
2 Minimum of 7 years relevant Corporates loans experience, with excellent all-round working knowledge of loans administration and processing experience: Successful candidate should have a good understanding of Corporate Loans related compliance, legal requirements and best market practices gained from working for a high profile European or American Bank / Financial Institution.
3 A minimum 3 years Supervisory experience running a team of more than 5 staff essential – Ideally, the candidate is currently supervising a regional processing team or with the desire to now takeon greater responsibility and geographic coverage in this strategically important role: Regional support covering Hong Kong and Tokyo would be advantageous.
4 Must be ‘Customer’ focused in providing service quality and excellence to all external and internal customers: To be responsive, pragmatic and adopt quickly and easily to customer requests and initiatives.
5 Knowledge of LoanIQ and MIDAS although preferred, is not essential.
6 Proven track record in project management / process improvement initiatives within current role would be advantageous: Ability to critically assess workflows and when necessary, define, initiate and manage process / systems changes on own initiative.
7 High level of proficiency in PC applications (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
8 Analytical & methodical with excellent written and verbal command of English essential: Japanese language skills (written and verbal) would be an advantage.
9 Possess proven leadership qualities and resourcefulness with the ability to multi-task, self-motivated, proactive, strong team player and work on own initiative: An excellent communicator who is flexible, outward going, and results oriented to be provide Service quality and excellence.
10 Successful candidate must be willing to work Singapore Public Holidays when Hong Kong & Tokyo normal working days.
