Accountant – Treasury
Responsibilities:
* Negotiate and liaise closely with major banks on financing facilities, account openings and other related matters.
* Monitor & plan the usage of various banking facilities according to operations requirements.
* Prepare and process treasury documents.
* Cashflow planning, forecasting and timely reporting.
* Liaise closely with subsidiaries for fund management.
* Other treasury related matters as assigned by the management.
* Support SCM activities, including but not limit to process and liaise orders and purchases with SCM related partners, follow up and process receipts and payments.
* Perform month-end closing and bank reconciliation.
* Manage treasury and SCM-related matters and ensure compliance to accounting policies, guidelines and standard operation procedures.
* Ensure all entities have sufficient working capital on a daily basis to meet their liabilities.
* Ensure smooth daily operation for Supply Chain Management.
* Responsible for accurate and timely month-end closing for both Treasury and SCM.
Requirements:
* Work Experience as Treasury Accountant.
* Meticulous and ability to work under pressure towards meeting tight deadline.
* Hands-on person, with strong multi-tasking ability to facilitate daily ad ho request.
* Able work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Independent, self motivated and team player
* Experience in treasury functions will be an added advantage
* Contract period for 5 to 6 months starts from June 2011
