HR & Payroll Executive
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for monthly headcount reconciliation
* Responsible fro accurate and timely download payroll data
* Prepare monthly accrued deduction – salary / CPF / Sinda / CDAC / ECF / MNF
* Identify problem areas, analyze and recommend improvements and streamline procedures
* Verify claims such as shift allowance, overtime, transport, medical, merit/patents awards, ERT allowances, pager allowances and process employees’ salaries, allowances and bonuses
* Generate month end payroll reports, raise journals and update the financial system
* Compute reservist pay and update into system
* Prepare recovery letters for HR to claim overpayment due to resignation
* Handle queries on all payroll matters
* Perform various aspects of HR Management functions.
* Involve staffing, performance management, compensation and benefits and employee relations in support of the operations of various strategic business units.
* Manage and administer HR policies and spearheading HR initiatives for the organization.
* Record / Update Manpower Needs.
* Collate / Compile Manpower Reports.
* Documentation and Filing of Personnel Files.
Requirements:
* Diploma in Accounting or ACCA level 2
* 2 years relevant experience in payroll department
* Analytical and capable of meeting tight deadlines
* Strong accounting knowledge and good understanding of Employment Act and Human Resource Policies on Compensation and Benefits
* Good and analytical interpersonal skill, honest, conscientious and discrete in handling confidential information
* Capable to work within tight deadlines
* Proficient on SAP system
