Unicorn Project Manager
(Singapore – CBD)
Responsibilities:
A successful candidate will join the GTS Ops Change team as a Project manager at the leading foreign investment bank.
Requirements:
* Hands-on ability to manage large IT programme for Banking and Financial sectors.
* In-depth knowledge across multiple banking products including FX, FX Options, derivatives, loans/deposits and futures
* a strong track record of medium to large sized project/programme delivery in financial markets and a high level of knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
* Hands on experiences in operational processes, large applications development & production support activities and Management of change in the banking environment.
* Strong experience in management of various teams – for deployment of support of large banking applications, escalation processes, target new systems and processes, production support implementation and improvements in the Investment banking Segments
* 12 months contract and extendable to 24 months
The role:
* Manage project stakeholders
* Manage project milestones
* Ensure GTSO deliverables are achieved
* Identify, resolve or escalate critical path
* Prepare project runbook
* Manage UAT, dress-rehearsal and migration activities
* Ensure contingency is in place and manage contingency process if activated
* Ensure process documentation is documented (if there is a process change)
* Ensure Ops staff are trained in the changed processes

Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
* Required skill(s): Java.
* At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Applicants must be willing to work in CBD.
* Preferably Managers specializing in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.
