Motor Claims, Senior Executive
SGD 4800 (Max) + Bonus

Responsibilities:
* Direct and oversee the work carried out by staff
* Manage and analyse Motor Property Damage (PD) portfolio
* Pro-actively seek best practices to manage the Property Damage portfolio
* Promote and monitor the development of claims policies and practices that meet local authorities regulations
* Drive claims process improvement in order to reduce Property Damage claims cost
* Manage the recovery system and ensure that all legitimate recoveries are carried out and followed through thoroughly and in timely fashion
* Drive customer service improvements in the entire claims process so as to enhance customer satisfaction
* Ensure the timely submission of claims management information and statistics as required either statutorily or by Group requirements
* Manage all claims reserving matters including financial closing each month as well as actuarial reporting
* Ensure risk management culture, infrastructure and processes are in place within the claims teams to ensure that business risks are effectively managed. This will include the managing of motor suppliers actively and effectively and working closely with Underwriter to improve product and pricing
* Continually review and develop the organisation and infrastructure to ensure claims processes, systems, and resources are robust, efficient and consistent with business requirements and standards
* Provide / manage the provision of effective claims and claims management training in line with company’s training needs

Requirements:
* Diploma/Degree/ACII/AMII or equivalent
* Previous experience in claims handling and management at middle management level
* In depth knowledge of technical claims handling in respect of motor BI claims.
* Also required to have knowledge in the handling of PD claims.
* Good understanding of intermediary market place , international and local market trends and developments
* Understanding and commitment to principles of risk management, control and compliance as defined by Group
* Previous experience at handling claims audits.
* Understanding of IT systems and continuous improvement
* Ability to work with minimum supervision
* Singaporean and Singapore PR only
