FINANCIAL ANALYST / SNR ACCOUNTANT / FINANCE MANAGER – BUSINESS ANALYST
(Singapore)
Responsibilities:
Position 1: Senior Accountant / Finance Manager (Business Analyst)
* Analysing the financial performance of the company’s activities and functions
* Work closely with the business unit managers to improve the business performance
* Provide Business Consultation for management
* Implementing and making improvement on accounting systems
* Handle accounting duties
Position 2: Accountant
* Operation – Finance and Accounting Singapore Accounting role
* Responsibilities include developing, implementing and/or maintaining one or a combination of general accounting systems and ensuring closing deadlines are met
* Prepare and assist in SOX Documentation
* Oversea AP, AR, GL Functions, Reconciliation, Audits & Tax Schedules, GST reporting
* May prepare federal, state, and local reports and tax returns and interpret reports and records for managers
* Oversee SG GAAP and Corporate accounting Policy Compliance
* Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Position 3: Cost Accountant
* Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual cost accounting close process to ensure adherence to Corporate close deadline.
* Adopt and maintain accounting policies and internal controls to ensure completeness and accuracy of the accounting records
* Compile and submit Weekly Variance tracking & analysis report to Corporate.
* Responsible for quarterly submission of excess and obsolete inventory report to Corporate for review and accrual.
* Work with the operation team to provide adequate subcon expenses accrual during the month-end close.
* Verify and approve inventory adjustment
* Liaise with internal and external auditors regarding annual and ad hoc auditing
* Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the standard costing system for inventory valuation, target management, transfers pricing and control reporting.
* Reviews cost roll-ups for accuracy and completeness and makes corrections if necessary.
* Assist New Product Introduction teams to understand cost breakdowns of products
* Review / Approval of subcon’s production rejects billing, scrap and changes in operating procedure.
* Assist in annual standard setting process relating to yield % and overhead expense.
* Support monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting
* Participate in special projects
* Any other tasks assign by management.
Position 4: Financial Analyst
* Perform month end closing
* Perform analysis for monthly actual results
* Prepare monthly forecasts for inventory related items
* Prepare annual budget for inventory related items
* Perform costing function including annual and weekly cost roll
* Manage credit review and collections for all customers
* Assist Treasury & Control Manager on ad-hoc assignments
* Check monthly actual results submission by two entities
* Check monthly forecasts
* Compile annual budget
* Involve in quarterly SOX testing for various cycles
* Update Standard Work Instructions timely
* Prepare monthly hedging computation
Requirements:
Position 1:
* Degree or ACCA
* Experience in business analyse
* Good accounting experience
* Supervisory skills
* Experience in implementing and making improvements on accounting systems
* Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
Position 2:
* A degree holder in Accounting/Finance or ACCA (Level 3) or relevant disciplines.
* Hands on technical accounting experience including AP, AR, GL.
Position 3:
* Accountancy Degree or equivalent preferred.
* Ability to multi-task while demonstrating initiative and judgment in problem solving
* Knowledge of SOX compliance requirements and audit processes.
* Proficient in MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel to create well structured spreadsheets, presentations, proposals and other documents.
* Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
* Good organizational and time management skills
* Good communication skills, written and verbal.
Position 4:
* Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent.
* Minimum 3 years working experience – with at least 1 year in an audit firm preferred.
* Experience with HFM and BaaN or other ERP system is preferred.
* Good hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications.
* Meticulous, analytical, independent, resourceful, willingness to accept and implement changes, team player and committed to see results.
