Instrumentation & Control Systems Engineer (EPC Industry)
(Singapore – West)
Responsibilities:
* Preparation of instrumentation & control system design specifications and drawings for a continuous process plant and intelligent buildings.
* Review of tender packages, submittals and test procedures to ensure technical compliance with specifications
* Liaise with Clients, Consultants, equipment vendors and suppliers where required to ensure compatibility of design interfaces during construction activity
* Provide effective project management of control system sub-contractors from initial contract award through submittal review, installation, testing and commissioning activities at Job site.

Requirements:
* Degree in Electronics or Instrumentation & Control Systems Engineering
* Minimum 8-10 years’ post-graduate relevant experience in the design of facilities for continuous process industry such as Pharmaceutical, Chemical or Wafer FAB. Experience with a multi-national Turnkey Contracting organisation would be an advantage.
* Extensive experience in design, installation and commissioning of industrial and intelligent building process control and instrumentation systems
* Detailed knowledge of DCS, PLC and DDC systems, SCADA, networking and Building Automation Management systems (BMS).
* Detailed knowledge of industrial and building HVAC control concepts including interfacing to electrical systems such as low voltage switchboards (MCC) and Variable Speed Drives.
* Detailed Knowledge of system design of Life Safety System comprising of Public Address Systems, Security & Access control, CCTV, Gas Detection and Fire Alarm systems.
* Knowledge of structured IT cabling & Wireless LAN systems is an advantage.
* Working knowledge of cost estimates, bid compilation and tender proposal evaluation is required
* Working knowledge of Singapore local Codes and IEC standards is essential.
