An excellent opportunity for a Payroll Manager – Financial has arisen to join our Financial & Administration team based in Jakarta.
Payroll Manager – Financial
Reporting to the Financial Controller, and working closely with the Payroll Manager- Systems & Process, you will be located in our corporate office in Jakarta with responsibility for ensuring financial reporting controls are maintained such as detailed reconciliations across all payrolls and that payments to outside parties are accounted for in accordance with statutory requirements. You will also be responsible for ensuring all payroll related taxation matters are followed & reported correctly, working closely with the Company Taxation Manager to ensure latest taxation requirements are followed. You will also assist in maintenance & support of our company pension scheme, together with other activities to ensure the smooth processing of our payrolls.
To be successful in this role you will need to have a degree in Finance/Accounting from respective university, master degree in Finance/Accounting would be preferred; experienced in payroll preparation minimum 5 years; knowledge of an ERP payroll, such as JD Edwards would be an advantage; strong knowledge in payroll tax related matters (PPh art.21); knowledge of savings/pension schemes and employee income tax reporting; PKK testing of JD Edwards systems; payroll testing, leave accounting and Employee Self Service; willingness to work under pressure and achieve dead lines; ability to manage payroll staff; strong accounting knowledge and fluent in English both written and oral; ability and willingness to accept responsibility; exceeding in working with detail and keep company’s confidentiality.
